A couple weeks back I finished a product visualization of a Horizontal Directional Boring device for the Cherrington Construction company. This was a tough assignment, and I was given 10 days to finish the project. The owner wanted the renderings fast, and produce a brochure to take to a conference in Denver. I managed to finish the project in 5 days. I really had to reprioritize my work and family time. The sacrifice made by my family and my own free time was worth it. Martin was very happy with my work, and said all the brochures were taken by potential buyers. He has already called me back for a second project. Thank you goes out to Matthew Roper, who referred me to Martin Cherrington. Matt Roper is a former student and successful mobile games animator and a great 3D modeler himself. He, in 2013, modeled the central machine, called the Pipe Thruster. I took Matt’s files and made all the remaining elements. The H-beams, sheet piling, land mass, piping, pipe seal, and the HDB with drill bit are all created by me. Additionally, I completed all the textures, lighting, and rendering. Form and Space is proud to have secured such a fantastic client.
